A MRF for obsolete computer equipment was implemented lately at Cedara. It is managed and financially supported by the Environmental Management section of the Department of Agriculture and Environmental Affairs (DAEA). As the new MRF is located at DAEA's own premises, no rental costs are charged as well as the management of the internal process and workflow is simplified. Moreover the space to set up the facility was available at relatively short notice.
